Sex!

Noticed a few commnets about the fact that a lot of people on here don't know how their penis works and general sex stuff, re: fatpants thinking he got his gf pregnant. But i've also been guilty about not knowing a few things regarding man juice. (Good for one quote).

Just curious to see what kind of sex education, if any, members on here got. I think it goes without saying we all that the puberty talk with a shit video and then got split up into genders and got taken to a room to talk about wet dreams, and all the girls came out with tampons. But i'm kind of talking about stuff after that.

For me (born in 1986), we got pretty much nothing. After the whole puberty video a few years later we got given a condom each in a science class and were told roughly how to put one on, and were told about the pill and those weird female condoms. Then a few years after that we got told about std's and given even more condoms.

Obviously we had condoms rammed down our throughts and got the shit scared out of us with talk about our penis's dropping off if we didn't use them, but no one actually said 'penis goes here', and that whole area of sex was looked over, with the kind of "so long as they're doing it safely attitude, we don't care" attitude.

Just curious to see what everyones sex education was like, please include your date of birth too so we can see how it's changed over the years, and try to keep the discussion educationary.

We were shown what a condom was by a woman with HUGE tits, then shown a quick 10 minute video about aids and stuff and pretty much told look at porn for everything else.

They don't use condoms in videos.. very rarely anyway.

(Not from experience). :-

We got no sex education at school from what I can remember besides one video in year 6 which was basically mild porn and the girls watched a video about periods.

then once in biology we watched a video of a boner which was shot with like a heat camera so you could see why/how it went hard.

great stuff

I prefered the more hands on approach anyways :Plol

Born in 1988 for the record.

Ours was pretty standard; a lesson in primary school (year 6) and then through PSHE (or whatever its called) from year 8-11. Although it was sort of mentioned with the 'Drugs, Alcohol, Debt' crew that teachers never understand, yet they're allowed to teach people?

We once had a 'Mens Health Day' and the girls had a 'Womens Health Day' - this was in year 10. This went through all the fun subjects of drugs, alcohol, debt, sex, diseases, pregnancy, depression. It was an action packed day of bullshit.

The sort of 'If you have sex, you'll die' attutide - a lot of it none of us agreed on, but tend to get bollocked if you had a throught on the subject that differed from theirs.

We had an 'ex' alcoholic come into the school and tell is us never to drink to excess - he was such a push over and everyone took the piss out of him. I imagine he met up with Jack Daniels sometime after that lesson.

The sex one, we had a nurse from some clinic showing us slide shows of various diseased body parts...again, something I didn't agree to at all as I don't believe in scare tactics with things like this. Two lads passed out in this lesson.

Awesome.

We got a lot of sex ed to be honest. We had a session every 6 months from about year 8-10... All about the usual condoms, femadoms, STD's etc. Probably got so many lessons on it because it's rough as f**k round here :P

Our's was pretty similar. We got taught briefly about condoms/STDs and the like, and we basically were only told that men make sperm and women make the eggs, and they have to meet somehow to make a sprog. There was no clues as to how though...

In all honesty, who the f**k uses a femidon these days, or 5 years ago?!

How the f**k do they work? My understanding is that they are like a big contact lense that goes inside the flange. How the shitting hell are you meant to get it back out again?

I remember seeing one in a film with Steve Martin in. I think it was Parenthood or something like that.

naaaaaah thats a deiaphram! Like them popper things you used to have as a kid where you turn it inside out and put it on the table and it pops into the air!!

A femedom is like a sandwich bag with a flexible ring in the bottom and another on the rim. So you throw the bottom ring inside, and the the other ring sits outside on the pyabs and you shag a bag...with a bag inside her!

I think...

We got sessions in year 8 about it. I've completely forgotten what stuff we were told. I'm not entirely sure that they actually told us how to use condoms. I think we just were told about puberty.

How to actually have sex though? You learn it like every other lad, from porn :P
