MartMini
quick question, will a seat leon backbox fit on a mk4 golf? dont care about rear bumper clearance, just as long as the flanges/ mounting points are the same? AdamR28
In Friday afternoon win news, just renewed my car insurance for £116.76. MX-5 and strawberry flavoured sugary conserve.
RobinJI
quick question, will a seat ibiza backbox fit on a mk4 golf? dont care about rear bumper clearance, just as long as the flanges/ mounting points are the same? I doubt it, the Ibiza's Polo based not golf. I guess there's still a little chance but it doesn't strike me as likely.

Pashley26
Fit yes. Actually fit. No. The leon has a very large rear pipe, the Mk4 doesn't.
Pete.M
Mental driving conditions this morning. I could only see the white lines in the road for about a metre or two in front of the car. The first clip is just there to show that the camera is good, so what you see after that first clip is genuinely what I could see this morning. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10204382374851869&l=1685283389675038832

waybe2014
Has anyone ever seen an MG TF spectre 160. Any opinions on them? Also have a skoda fabia if anyone likes/wants one for a project or spares.
Pashley26
I would die before you ever got my name on the log book of an MG TF. Two shit subframes bolted to a flexible tub by a company that were more concerned about tea breaks than the finished product. Avoid in a plague like fashion. Danny
And you didn't even mention k series head gaskets.
Pashley26
That's because most don't have them, I just assumed they weren't worth mentioning. Have I become even more miserable lately? Edited February 7, 2015 by Pashley26
Luke Rainbird
Only the larger bore K. Replace with a later MLS (multi layer steel) gasket and you're golden
waybe2014
It already has the mls gasket and it's not for me it's for the missus. She doesn't drive fast and a comfy ride is fine (insert tf jokes here) but she really likes the look of it. Her last car was a boy racer corsa with spinners that was so slammed it couldn't get on the drive at our house.

HippY
Her last car was a boy racer corsa with spinners that was so slammed it couldn't get on the drive at our house. That would be the plan with the corsa my family has. it is in the air that I might (hopefully) get it if I will renew the insurance on my name, then I would lower it probably a little... MadManMike
So my cat isn't going anywhere for the time being. None of the bolts would budge. Penetration spray on there for a week should help, hopefully.
