The Angry Thread.

For the past week I could only use my phone to send e-mails/messages/whatever, but it didn't suddenly make me write completely different words to the ones that would make sense in that context. On the odd occasion autocorrect decided to f**k shit up I changed the word back so it made sense. There is a delete button.

Jack: Indeed.

Not that i ever missspell a word... but

With a mobile its so easy to hit the wrong key, the letters are small and close together, its (on this phone) arkward to go back and put the cursor in the right place to delete or change a letter, if I ever spell somthing wrongly the auto correct learns the 'new' spelling and changes it every time I write it, and if I don't know the correct spelling there's no relying on the phone to know, not like on a pc with a propper spell checker.

I forgive myself angel.gif

In the brief time I've actually been on here today, I've read a worryingly large amount of replies where the level of writing/spelling is so bad it makes it impossible to actually understand what's being said. If only we knew when it was all kicking off about whether text speak was allowed or not how much worse was to come...

Seeing Americanisms like spelling definitely "defiantly" and omitting the "n't" from words like couldn't/shouldn't/wouldn't gaining more ground here sucks. To anyone who defiantly could care less about there spelling: f**k you.

No finks i undustood yew

You might want to consider that sentence in the context of the whole post. It's when spelling is so bad that people use words that are actually the total opposite of what they mean that it gets annoying, such as saying could instead of couldn't. For example, in a reply on here someone said "I could find out..." but what they actually meant was "I couldn't find anything..." (as in "I couldn't find owt...").
