Thats a horrendous statement to be making Chimpy, although I do see where you're coming from. Long bikes with high BBs and rolled forward bars - only good for up to fronts, side hops and hooks? Short street bikes, bunny hops to back are easier? Mod bikes, no one ever taps those.

Long live the tap!!

:D

I just said that because as you say, who goes for taps these days?

that's why I m a huuuge fan of Fontenoy's riding style which still reminds me of the old coust style's

You know those enormous yet totally effortless rolling taps :$

but I want an answer about the head angle/tap easyness combo please :P

Kyle James Livesey is GOD at taps < Just sticking that here....................

And he's on a jaf repaired R26, and also a lad who rides with us has one, he loves it. Before that he had my Limey 3

I hated the way the Limey 3 bikes rode - too heavy and didn't like the low BB.

My Speedrace Fans frame rode pretty nicely with Trialtech forks on with around a +48 BB

+70 feels too much to me, but I loved the Proto Limey 4 I had for a short while after Seddon which was about +60

Mine was the white one.

It was a great frame, while it lasted.

Mine is the white one. Love it. I like a high front end, I've got a 150x30 rockman stem on mine. Sits so nice on the back wheel. And if anyone thinks it's too long, it's how I like it. So there :) Edited by bing

At one point on my proto Limey 3 ( gold one) I got it to about 400mm rear end. That was nice on the backwheel!
