@Ali C vlogs have been great the past few weeks, and I'm hoping the summer months will keep it going. It's cool having a good quality trials vlog going in addition to the BMX ones, and especially one that doesn't eventually start posting car videos

Maybe an idea for a thread, for when you want to repost a video that doesn't quite warrant it's own topic? Anyway, found the mp3 of the song on an old memory stick and the hunt for this video began. Trials begins at 4:16 but I remember watching this video on a weekly basis when I started getting into bikes - And an old video of Dominik Raab showing him being ahead of the game, uploaded a few months before April 2009

Sounds like you're happy about two things you can ride oioi #ladzbantz

Riding at some walls on an estate last night when a security guy came over to me. I was mentally preparing to be moved on until he asked if I was avoiding the grass and let me know when he was changing shifts because the other guard is very strict about it. It occurred to me this 'other guard' was fabricated but I don't even mind because he was just so darn reasonable.

Had one of those dream rides the other night. January's been typically a little depressing so rolled out at 6 in the evening in the dark and the cold, spoke key and multitool in one pocket and phone in the other. I manned up and explored around some new areas, found some cool new spots to session that are much closer than I'd expected and managed to try some new things even if I couldn't see where I was landing. I've never really lost the love for trials but it's nice to feel extra excited about riding around this week. Also, still so happy I bit the bullet and bought an Inspired two years ago now, still get happy when I look at it in my room and have never had the problems I've had with previous bikes. Also, I bit another bullet and bought one of those Halfords '13' bikes a few weeks ago and loving the long distance stuff again. Set myself the target of doing a 200 mile ride in 24 hours so I'm already getting pumped up for trying that when we get some more daytime. And that bike has hyro disk breaks which means I can finally become a master at doing wheelies in the wet. Point is I like bikes basically.

Great riding, though I feel it's very similar to your previous videos content wise. Still cool to watch, I much prefer your riding on the 24". Watched on mute, assumed Linkin Park was playing

Got an £11 pair of bluetooth earphones for Christmas and they've been great, I've absolutely loved not yanking the wire out when riding. The situation ended up with me getting another £50 voucher (my nose if filthy) so now I've thought might as well save for an SLR, couldn't think of any situation I really need any Sugru for.

Last time I accidentally bumped into a rider was 4 years ago... I remember following the sound of Maguras to see who was out riding in Reading a while back.

Merry Christmas, what's under yer tree?
bikeperson45 replied to Herbertlemon102's topic in Trials Chat
Not a trials parts, but just in from my first ride with wireless earphones which are a game changer. Pretty sure my wire earphones were smelling because of all the sweat saturated into the wire, and for £11 can't really go wrong. -
I was given a £50 Amazon voucher from work on Friday for being a massive brown noser as part of a reward scheme. I don't want to get anyone any presents because I don't know many people that deserve anything so am just looking to buy something for myself that I wouldn't normally buy that will make me incredibly happy. Any ideas?

I am not proud of how long it took me to install a tripod seat. Thank you both for your support, I barely got through that one.

So it's not easy to get a tripod saddle on a tripod post, is it?

Release date is 21 December, so probably not yet

I don't know if it was the not amazing camera quality, the bikes being listed under your names, the gaps onto grass banks, the use of black and white editing or the raceline levers, but this made me feel like I was watching my first trials video on youtube before I'd even started riding in a really good way.

I'll have to try and become senior member instead I guess

Awesome, this is the video I'd like more of.

Side off before the end, doesn't count

Debating seeing it again, can't wait to see where they go with it. I do wish they'd put a little more effort into the duels, the wands connecting was so supposed to be rare in the books but apparently it happens all the time in the movies.

Whoops, did not know that

Just to confirm that trials riders have given up with trials videos

Kenny Belaey and Thomas Oehler Random vid

Riding was cool but effects were too distracting. Good to see Kenny can tyre tap better than 90% of street riders though -
Thanks guys, think I'll try the time lapse method, not too sure how my laptop will manage with it's wee little processor but we'll see.

Little project I'm working on and I'm trying to find some way of showing a clock that will show a 24 hour period, but so that it's adjusted to complete this time period in an hour and a half? Anyone know of any resources like this? Hope that's made sense

I agree with the comment that it could have been cut down to a seven minute vlog. It depends what you're going for though, me and my friends have made videos about our escapades and the thing we've all learned is that the people that will find the jokes funniest is ourselves which is why we've never bothered 'sharing' them, making a vlog for strangers entertainment is different to making a video genuinely for yourselves. Still it's nice to pretend I have riding friend's through watching vlogs, I need to get out more
