Work situation is pissing me off still even though it happened 1 December... It's a petty thing but the thing I took issue with was there was an event I did a tonne of work on but when the day came a woman who joined the team working on it was thanked in front of everyone and given a bottle of champagne. I don't resent her for it but it really gets to me how so much of my time and effort was seemingly ignored because of that when I started working on the even in February last year and she joined in late October - and the work she did do was effectively repeating the work I had already done. One of those awkward positioning things because she works closely with the head honchos of the company where as I'm quite a few levels below that... Actually I do resent her because she had every opportunity to credit other people but she went with 'your welcome'. I had done pretty well at letting it go, trying to be wise I thought it wasn't worth the hassle and lesson learned and all that but now there's a debrief meeting and I'm thinking how to word things in a way that isn't me juvenilely yelling 'She got a bottle and I didn't'. And the thing that bothers me the most is that I'm letting this bother me, if I could pay to have an ignore button inserted on the side of my skull I'd probably get it.

Wooo! Great riding, I'm not a massive bar spin fan but I wouldn't mind being able to do those little pedal kick ones.

I've felt like I was the last rider on a 26" street bike - hoping there not £1500 plus...

Ah no way, was not expecting a yes. I'm a little iffy on her new album but Ten Love Songs is one of my favourite albums, went to see her last year and she was great so have fun.

If it's Susan Sundfor I'll like your post

Best part of Prague is that skate spot up by the giant metronome thing, one of my favourite places I've been to. Don't even know if it has an official name.

My one criticism is the angles, only on the basis that Flipp ends up out of frame in most shots. I end up watching the bike mostly which almost makes the riding less impressive - it doesn't but I do think a well filmed edit could make the riding look a tonne better. But the pain of tripod filming isn't lost on me...

If you could bring the wall forward you'd be onto a winner

One minute video for a single move and a bonus click bait title? Seems excessive for what it is.

I'd rob more vans if I knew they had that much in there

Street trials bike... TMS??s
bikeperson45 replied to Joshemerytrials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
The secret to manuals is that they're not exclusive to Inspired bikes, I'd recommend getting to your nearest car park and pulling up on the bars until you're just about to quit trials forever, and then doing the same the next day. Stick a video of your trying up on here and you'll always get some pointers. The TMS would manual easier than a mod though, unfortunately the idea of getting a new bike to make learning a trick easier always gets a bit of an annoying response out of me -
Danny Mac killed trials.

You should definitely check out What We Do In The Shadows and Hunt For The Wilderpeople, same director and they're both great. If you haven't already that is.

So I've got a blood blister at the bottom of a finger and it's been there about a week now. I've read a few things about why you shouldn't pop them but I'm considering going out and letting riding some more do it's thing... Any suggestions?

US The Office, it helps that there's enough seasons so that you can 'forget' an episode every now and again. Day they took it off Netflix was a bad day though, actually had to buy DVDs.

Can not stand Ryan Taylor, just an idiot who's found out he can make youtube money pissing off people doing their jobs for the most part. I wish I could block seeing channels in my recommend because it annoys me that it's even a thing. -
So is 'first time' is now universal language Has Fabio ever made a pure street video? That's what I'd like to see, and not in that village most of his videos have been in.

My phone doesn't work on a particular road
bikeperson45 replied to bikeperson45's topic in Chit Chat
Went a whole day in airplane mode and the same thing kept happening and I've spoken to the IT department (just in case they were using a signal jammer) and no luck there either. I'll probably just end up selling it unless I can get these damn aliens to stop. -
No mention of Scotty Cramner's channel? I'm still finding the videos inspiring after his crash, did not see him coming back in any way after seeing him with a missing forehead. And also on BMX, Spenser Foresman for being the best at actual BMX content rather than using girl filled thumbnails or inevitably becoming a car channel.

My situation is that I have a phone that works fine, a Samsung Galaxy A5, except for when I'm in my work building and the road it's on. By 'not working' I mean that it won't unlock, I get no response and then have to do a hard shut down to restart it and it will last twenty minutes or so before repeating the process. I've tried keeping the phone in flight mode to see if that makes a difference and it didn't, the software's up to date and no one in the building has the same problem... I've had it fully charged but it doesn't seem to be power related and I am now at a loss. TF's seems like the perfect place to ask - any ideas?

Legitimately pissed me off, or maybe I should get over my fear of non straight edge objects. -
Want to learn Barspins? Here's how I did it. (on an Inspired)
bikeperson45 replied to Max F's topic in Videos
Awesome, that's the video I've wanted for a while now. I'm not a huge barspin fan but I've been itching to learn a 'trick' so time to go to the local carpark. -
Some nice hopping - afraid to say my favourite part was the kid laughing at that back slam at the end
