  1. echo tr* should have said that :$ , they're a pig to lace on the non-disc side down to the diameter of the disc side flange (heads facing out). heads in it is! cheers
  2. right, so i'm thinking of wacking a radial pattern on the non-disc side of my front wheel (3x/4x on the disc side) and was unsure of the direction of the head of the spokes, should they face in or out? or does it not matter? any difference of the two (in or out)? cheers guys chris
  3. when my carbons slipped (when doing a gap) it was a mega loud twang, i very nearly did some poo in my pants. they only rolled them self back a tad, but noise was bad like something broke
  4. Now you need to draw attention to how global warming 'climate change' due to the use of non-renewable/polluting energy is causing the sea levels to rise (by 1.7mm p/y avg. apparently*). Then try to explain how sea levels rose significantly when the English channel was created and England was cut-off from mainland Europe, all without the use of fossil fuels....... The whole green this carbon that is all bollocks, do we all really buy into this bullshit?. While there is a 'shred' of truth in the whole climate change thing, in the sense that consuming fuels and polluting the atmosphere is certainly not a good thing..........however its incredibly arrogant and egocentric to think we could have such a dire effect on the environment we live in over such a short period of time, big business and media putting an overly negative spin on things to scaremonger people into buying electric cars and so on.......... * i spent a whole 5 seconds googling that figure, so it may not be overly accurate.
  5. 175/180mm mod stem, any body got one cheap?

  6. i laughed when i saw the forks............................i nearly pissed when i saw the price.
  7. oh dear..............painting you bike orange does not make it a skye http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Danny-MacAskill-Skye-Inspired-Azonic-not-fourplay-street-trials-dirt-jump-/181097161904?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item2a2a3b64b0
  8. if i had a 24 made id go for a 1080wb and a +60 bb and the same 73* h/a as you went for, my deng 24 fells a tad too short for the bb height imo. but everybody likes different geos.......
  9. looks like you need to move the rear sprocket closer to the dropout (away from the center of the hub) to me or use a narrower axle bb if you can clearance wise, could just be the pics though.....
  10. whats the chain line look like (wonky)? or it the tensioner 'pulling' it off by being aligned badly?
  11. i haven't had to touch a spoke since i built my wheels , but i think having a rim with offset spoke holes makes a difference vs a 0 offset rim. the tt rim i had on my old stock was flexy (twisting with an angled load on the wheel) by comparison to what i'm running now, even though they're 24.
  12. saving weight is subject to where you're saving it, you may not notice it around the bb area but i noticed a saving of just short of 150g when i drilled my front rim into near oblivion. that said i noticed no weight difference when i put my carbons on (saving of 100g ish) didn't woolies go belly-up a while back? get to m&s thats not just any arse...................
  13. echo's 24 (1070wb) vs rm's raddix? anybody had/ridden both? how do they compare geo wise?

  14. http://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=10151187570226607
  15. looking at how shallow the teeth on the ratchet are, i'm going to say no....... vs the echo
  16. http://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=612288125455304 if you can stomach watching the video look at something with a strong pattern.....................weird shit and the disclaimer is lame
  17. mine are the same, properly unpleasant when its cold/wet too.........cod liver oil and some (something) phosphate my mum has for her gammy shoulder make it a bit better but i don't think it'll ever go away i just live with it. but i'm old(ish) and falling to pieces anyway......
  18. this? http://www.trialworld.es/pruebas/trial-bici/843-preparacion-koxx-sky-de-benito-ros.html
  19. was i just taught a bit of sign language by an effeminate retarded lumberjack?
  20. tar, but mine where enough of a twat to get on in the first place so i used evaporating glass cleaner to slip 'em on with.
  21. 3d forged stems and hydro-formed tubing i'm assuming it's done the same way as t piece copper pipes are, well i know the hydro-forming tubing will be. edit - would also like to see how the splines are cut into crank arms too, gunna have a guess and say its the same way teeth are cut into cogs and the like. would be nice to see video of certain bits of a frame being cnc'd, like the funky headtube cut outs the black sky/zhi team/speedrace solo had and the cnc'd bb yokes too.
  22. is that a crafty way of calling me a girl? also looking at the Urge Dirt-O-Matic 2011 one too for around the same monies, any word on those anyone? its certainly light, but wouldn't have thought its a good thing with a helmet to an extent.
  23. as title really, as far as i'm aware they're a new company and not one i've heard of before. so, anybody have any experience with any of their offerings? they're half price at my lbs and its about time i got myself a crash hat. the bold large logo 2012 is the one i'm looking at, price is reasonable at 15 notes on sale. give it a go or should i avoid them it a yeast infection? cheers in advance guys
