  1. Hi welcome to trials!. I can't help much but in my opinion the body heals and learns a bit slower as you get older. I don't know how fit you are either. But it is good to look after yourself more try and work on general flexibility and balance, anything similar to yoga or stretching etc.. what ever you like. But I find trials doesn't make you fit, you need to be fit to ride trials. Let yourself heal if you are sore too. As for meetups / locations, maybe post here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/8-member-organised-rides/
  2. its a radius tube connector, I think i.e: http://www.essentracomponents.co.za/radius-tube-connectors
  3. Brilliant thanks guys, i will get some quotes for laser cutting. And I can maybe use razorlab to get my prototypes done instead.
  4. I 'll be doing quite a lot of them, by hand isn't really an option. But obviously I am limited by cost, a few hundred quid is okay, but has to be under a grand really for the stuff. I'm fine with CAD software, I used a CNC cutter once many moons ago. I'm trying to work out what I would need and what is realistic, the tolerance doesn't need to be super accurate it just has to be neat.
  5. I know a lot of you have experience fabricating stuff at work and at home, so hopefully you can help me. I want to find a way to automatically cut panels like this: With mainly circular holes, but some slots and squares, my panels will be around 30x15 cm so quite small, ideally I would like to cut 2mm thick sheet aluminium, but could I switch to perspex type stuff too if that's easier ?? I guess factorys use lasers or pucnhes to do this, but can I use a CNC machine ?, and has anyone tried crappy stuff from ebay ? What sort of machine do I need ? and how much do they cost. Also are there any that can do laser engraving as well as cutting ? Cheers !!!

    My 20" and 24"

nice rides, that bashguard mod looks tidy too.
  7. I bought a fourplay of a guy that ran it tubeless, the tyre pressure had to be quite high though. He said it worked for him, I ended up just running tubeless on the front and that worked pretty well. The main problem is it is difficult to run low pressures and fix on a ride. Not much benefit for all the hassle though. If you want to save weight drilled / lighter rims are probably easier.
  8. I have the same problem, the TSG kraken is flexible so it actually fits weird shape heads instead of just causing pain, normal helmets are way to circular for me.
  9. +1 for bikes without seats. Good job for a hundred quid.
  10. I forgot how incredible this guy was, cheers for posting.
  11. lol, What was your plan if it was alive ?

  13. Welcome back dude, there is a trials group for hampshire on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/251876548219260
  14. yeah its hashtagg frame, forks, wheels, drive train and bars.
  15. Those graphics are well nice, much better than the stock ones. Is mybike a company or is he just saying it's my bike ?.
  16. I'm deciding on a rear rim, but my measurements come out using spokes that are 2.7mm too short. Will the spoke reach the head of the nipple, will I even be able to lace it ???
  17. are you talking about the square bit pressing on the hub axle ? I think at somepoint the tensioners had a little cup on them. @Adam_McGuire i think you need to loosen the nut a bit, and then undo the grub screw using an allen key. i don't think the nuts are needed.

lame, that sucks. I have a similar situation, I'm not keen on rolling bars forward either. The echo carbon bars have less rise so maybe you could combine them with a mod stem if you can't remove stackers ? I'm not even sure if mod stems are that big any more. Seems like everyone just has to roll their bars to a stupid angle these days.

The hashtagg or rockman stem has a pretty common geo (150x30), but will add some height I think. Do you prefer a normal handlebar angle or will you tip them forward ? There is an echo CNC that is 158x30 I think too. What handle bars do you have now ?
  20. yeah i guess he means a dodgy bb cup or maybe it is just lose sometimes it can just be fixed with super glue. Tarty have plenty of ISIS bbs and I have a trialtech sport lite for sale in the for sale section. Also here is the spec for the frame kit is below which may help out: https://web.archive.org/web/20140412161307/http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/frame_kits/onza_zoot_pro_frame_kit/c564p11354.html
