Big surprise! Fully awesome. Plentiful of big power moves and a unique style. Next time for that tree to bench line then
-
Well. That was, um, f**king amazing. Endless great lines. Endless ballsy lines. For 5 days, that's some real effort. Top end stuff.
-
Clean riding. Dialled. Filming was real smooth to. Sorry can't say anything else :$ Glasgow looks sooo good to ride too.
-
Yeah man, that was awesome. Laughing all the way through. Sharp and snappy. Really think this suits your personality well. Great job!
-
+3 That was cool.

Wasn't as good as the first watch. Was a real good watch though. Makes a nice addition to the creative videos i think. Sweet moves and a cool location. Rossy, you also need to work on your acting skills I was disappointed with the 180 over the tv. I was expecting you guys to destroy it somehow instead [edit] That's in the novice category, dammmn. Should do pretty good i expect. Though i'm also a judge for it

Wasn't long enough, so i now don't like it Gonna watch again later. And then i'll comment. Going for a ride.

Danny's frame is considerably shorter than the Fourplay btw.

Euan's video was posted by crazykid009 i think. Can't link from phone, sorry.

I'm sure help is at hand Ben if you need it. Good idea for the topic sticky. It will also be able to hotlink from other websites which will be cool.

No offence to the kid, but kinda boring. He's probably gonna be real good when he's 16, so i'll probably enjoy his riding then. I hope his parents don't push him into riding, because it really ain't worth it imo.
-
Sickness. TGS power and smoothness. Wobbly fence line was very brave.
-
I'm not familiar with that technique, but i'm presuming it's a case of "no" "no" "no" after watching 10 seconds.
-
Really enjoyable! Cool riding, angles and locations. Oh and the music. Not often you get cool mod videos. Though i would of loved to see lines at 47 and 54 seconds landed. Cause imo they weren't, and would of been soo sick if they were.
-
Ben, you should have reviewed each on release. Then just made notes. I've got an Excel spreadsheet for that shit

Liked the edit. Loved the 3tap manual over the curb pad, wasn't expecting that. Though, if you want to ride brakeless better, i'd say do it for a lengthy period. 6 months would be ideal. It'll give enough time for you to develop skills not just related to trials. Bike control, stopping, execution, bailing, bicycle limits, line spotting will all be improved over that time. Don't want to say it, but just so you don't feel you made the wrong choice, lower bb/ higher bar is better for brakeless control.

Can i be an ass? I think because i had to wait 15 hours or however long to watch this, and you being you; i got hyped. I then felt kinda disappointed by the edit, not the riding, just the edit. I know it took some hard work, but didn't do it for me. It was like you had too many ideas within your head, and put them altogether, so it didn't work out. Boot shutting intro was cool. Audio was out of sync. Wedge to nose bonks are real cool. Not thought of that one before. Nose bonk gap was also cool. Nose bonks galore 1.55 stair ride to that river was savage. Top line for sure. 2.08 body jar sidehop was fully awesome. Mod nose manuals! Know how hard those are. Out of all the random clips, the dreams of Phil was great. Though the others didn't really fit in. Liked the music, but would of worked allot better for a normal edit. I think this is what broke the video for me. The flip felt wasted. Definitely an ender move, and i know it took allot of blood and guts to get that one, but it was at the end end. I think this edit would of been more favoured for me with an upbeat tune. Or just used that music with your normal awesome riding.

Yeah Joe, there was some sorta photo thing happening originally. It's the effort that counts.

I like comp. But it's an effort to do, early morning starts, overly serious queue jumpers and favouritism. I've never done TGS. No matter what i've rode, i can't help do tricks.
-
Can't wait to watch this. You uploaded at the exact time as me! When mine was done i saw this but was in bed so i refrained myself from watching until i've the full audio effect. Ps. Mine is just a tester.

Dedication I wish i didn't set my alarm, as the rain beat me. Maybe not playing Halo till 1am would of helped. [edit] Editing now.

I tried to film for half hour again today. Riding metal ramps that are duey could of not been worth it. Had to wait until all the rat kids went home. This is sucking major major ass.

Getting hard isn't it. Been out the past few days, half hour to ride after to work. 40mins if you include speed warm up. Sucks having to go out to ride, which is just doing the same move and failing. But yeah, sort it. What's even dumber is people think they can do a little colour change and it's suddenly artsy or cool. Yet the best pictures don't need editing. Kid at work is on instagram/iphone all the time, i heard him bragging about 22 followers or something like that

I'm thinking quite the opposite. I've discussed with others before that people aren't really thinking about their edits and just doing something that they would do anyway, then entering it for the sake of it. The idea of the comp is to be creative (in a loose sense) and to inspire and push each other to help us move forward and feel like we've acheived something in the sense of enjoyment or progression. Anyhow the video. I'll give a lengthyish response. I did wonder what Ali was going to cook up. I knew what others had, and what they were capable of. But this surpised me, allot. I always liked the super8 footage mixed in, Evolve and older bmx dvds mixed with other colourfull cameras always felt good. But, you can't of been that scripping for cash if you've got time to spend filming the road Joke aside, it was tottally worth it showing that you were venturing into that other country. And not just filming some traffic or random people at a shopping centre. The over exposure worked and if i hadn't read previous comments i would of thought it was just multiple overlaps from the editing. Riding was chilled, rolling, then blam. Couple of big ones in there. I'm really suprised people didn't pick out the size of those moves. The 3 nosepick into that crazy tranny. Sheesh, that was big and you caught it perfect. Didn't look like much room for error. However (ahah, yeah sorry), the filming. The floor fade offs didn't suit imo, or Ali didn't make use of them Super8, i'd prefer long crossfades. And the music, i see the reasoning. And it worked for the intro, but i would of liked to heard another tune come in. It felt like something from a southern US state bar. Even if it wasn't a winning entry, which it is, you can look back at that and feel happy as i'm sure it was a great trip. f**kin' summer

Pretty long with that odd intro. Nice spots and some decent riding. Rail lines were pretty sick.
