Sam Nichols
Is there anyone on here that is themselves or knows of someone who is incredibly fussy to the point of it being an eating disorder? I don't mean a disorder in the sense that you don't eat enough, but rather you only eat very particular often incredibly plain food. Things like: plain pasta with cheese, completely plain steak, completely plain burgers, no vegetables, nothing with spice or seasoning, pizza with only base+cheese and no tomato sauce. I'm just interested to find out if there's anyone out there, or maybe someone that used to be like that but managed to snap out of it. err
my youngest son is exactly like you describe, you've pretty much described his entire diet there! He almost vomits at the taste of most veg, although he will eat peas and carrots now (it took ages though) he hid under the dining table for an hour recently when we told him he had to eat a banana! Rich J
Me, I keep being told I only eat beige food and its pretty true. I eat cheese and tomato pizza a hell of alot and even though I do like meat I wont have it near a pizza. Plain burgers all the time too. I'd eat butter on toast but would much rather have it as just bread and such. Won't touch sauces, no fruit or veg in my diet for a long time either. Sam Nichols
Do you feel like it's something you want to change/should change or are you fairly indifferent to it?
MadManMike
I feel sorry for people that limit their diet like that, they really are missing out on so much amazing stuff. I'm fairly fussy in that I won't eat any seafood, but in general I'll try most things.
Rich J
I do and I don't I've never been that interested in food but if I'm offered something I will usually try it. I know it should change though.
bikeperson45
I used to be pretty fussy (not as much as described) but eat pretty much anything now as long as it doesn't look like the animal it is. I can't do soup or hot drinks though at though
Skoze
I keep reading the title wrong, makes for quite a different topic. Faye's a bit difficult, won't touch any degree of salad amongst other things.

I'm talking more about people who don't have much of a choice in the matter, they try things but just tend to dislike everything. But I agree it's a shame! Blake
Can't stand mayo. Or salad cream, or a few other things. Generally pretty good at eating new things, I'll try and force myself to give them a go. Don't like onions though :/ Spicy food I can eat but not in abundance. Like depleted immune system or IBS or stuff like that? Not that I'm aware of no. The potential reason behind it is having a nut allergy and when I was younger my childminder always made simple meals to avoid anything related and I've just grown up like that since. I'd love to go out and be able to order anything off a menu but I won't.

This is my lad all over. Won't touch meat at all, only just managed to get him eating sausages. He'll only eat plain pizza, pasta with just cheese on, won't touch veg, only a few carrots. He'd eat super noodles and cheese sandwiches all day long if he could. As well as the usual chocolate and crisps

Joe O'Connor
I pretty much don't like the taste of meat and if I cant have a huge amount of veges with it I'm not a happy boy. I could eat peas, broccoli and cauliflower every single night and not complain. Cant stand seafood and I think this is more contributed to eating a mainly healthy diet, pretty much any fastfood I eat ends up giving me a sore stomach. I find it hard to eat more than 2 slices of pizza or a normal sized McDonalds meal. Not complaining though, that stuff is cancer on a bun
Azarathal
When I was a kid I'd only eat bread and butter at restaurants followed by baked potatoes and chicken. Now I'll eat most things. My girlfriend pretty much only eats chicken dippers, oven pizzas etc and hates anything healthy.

HippY
For the people who eats only Pasta with cheese There is a simple food that is tasty and miight contain more nutrition, and they might like it Pasta+cheese and sour cream. ( it is at tescos usually, it is not double cream, t might say Creime Fraichey, or something like that) One of my favourite food, tasty but nut too filled with hard taste ( that people might dislike) and that sour cream might give something extra nutrition to the food ( I am not a professional at bilogy :/) and for the topic: I am not a fussy eater, although I eat cheese for nearly everything, and pasta is my favourite food. I mis-read the topic title and so I was severely disappointed. just search for it on a adult website, it will correct you
