  1. Who else remembers the fun of the ACS claw, 16? 18? 24? point engagements I can’t remember. They would break all the time, what a nightmare to remove them... good times ! Todays freewheels are insane, different world.
  2. chillin by the sea, smooth as always!
  3. Vincent H was doing shoulder high taps all day on this bike in 2005, in here is a 147cm one but the top of the wall has a tiny edge/not 90 deg. Tunni will always be my fav TGS !
  4. ohhh yes !! He is next level on that bike... ET go home Definitely would love a weekly 90% video !!!
  5. nonsense. I hope to learn things into my 50s, unsure about backflip but id like to learn how to roll fakie front wheel and proper g turn... As for taps/ find a non 90 deg flat rigid wall, something w a round slope on the edge or a little angle to it. Put your front wheel at the tap spot, with your chocolate foot at max power position... then roll bike back keeping rear wheel on ground, go till you are a full pedal stroke back- put a stick at this point. Then line up w the stick, and try it for a few hours a week! You’ve got it
  6. I guess what position are you mostly in the bike... on the back wheel? front wheel? Pogoing? Bunnyhopping? Then figure your arm/shoulder/trunk/legs into a trials fit calculator app... and you’ll get your angle ! Try em all.. I’ve done vertical, and almost parallel to ground, and everything in between. For years in the early 2000s in Colorado people would run the front brake closer to parallel w ground. and the rear brake closer to vertical- giving a better feeling on the wrists when pointed downhill for front brake, and better position for wrist when on rear wheel. It wasn’t as much front break as todays riders use, and different techniques I don’t think it would still be nice.
  7. That crash!!! fuuuuu bricks aren’t soft ! Brilliant riding as always, enjoy the nonchalant 360 nose style
  8. wow never seen before !! What a shredder! Loved those early monty days, so many people around the world riding the same 221 - so many different styles riding the same frame. Not too many options back then.
  9. beautiful!! How much does that weigh ?
  10. What kinds of radical stuff did you guys get / buy yourself this time o year ?? I got a new bike... 20” ... can you guess what it is ?!? the winner gets $4.20 venmo , free holiday coffee at starvhx! yesss
  11. whatever bappened to him ?!? only saw a few great videos then ?? I would put in CR Films Revolution and jeff lenosky’s Keepin it Real as my personal favorites... rewatching them time after time on vhs, wasnt no instagram or any trials internet back then! The USA had a mailing list in the 90s... that was the only online trials back then. As for a best internet video- way too hard !! Far too many talented folks in different ways, can’t just pick one... major nostalgia ! Love all the videos posted, post all you think of @aener !
  12. japanese cheese > french cheese
  13. Chris can ride any bike. Ebikes are all the $$$ rage for sponsors, he killed it. I wouldn’t watch this again in a year, view once and done unlike many if his other videos. Love ebikes for trail work (load it up and go) or other bike packing situations, pretty amazing how much space you can cover. Not sure how I feel about lazy people using them to just ride up a hill, which I have seen plenty of american plumpers doing on trails here. If you are 65+ or handicapped it is ok. If you are a 30 yo prime male who spends his days eating crisps and sitting on the couch- get a real bike. If you are a healthy person riding one, better be covering hundreds of kilometers in a ride... that is tiring If you’ve never ridden one, try to not wheelie on the first go
  14. ahhhh go f yourself robot poster I’m reading people talk about brisa stems then I realize the dang date
  15. In burnsville, a sleepy lil redneck town... bout 40 minutes north east of asheville, our local metropolis. Boon is an 1.5 hr drive or so east of us Any and all please come on by, I’ve got the beginnings of a single track in the woods.. and plenty of pallets in the barn. Goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, guineafowl, rabbits- its the opposite of los angeles plenty of clean air and water, 30 pounds of veggies out the garden every couple of days. Not much time for riding, and it is a rainforest so my main enemy of wet logs is now my only friend... Pigs and cows in 2021. @cwtrials I had to get out of California for obvious reasons, it is an incredible state with amazing nature but a lot of idiotic human beings, government and it is $$$$... I got a 20 acre mountain farm for 1/3 the price of a gnarly one bedroom condo near where i used to live... I’m locked down at the farm , much work to do every day, attempting the live off the land and produce everything I need here... someday I will be able to travel again - may be years before I ride trials in a city. Hope you are well!!
  16. Congratulations Pete !!! Beautiful kid. I’ve just got four dogs, couple hundred chickens and other birds, other farm animals now ... If you ever end up in western north carolina come on by, slowly building trails in the woods... plenty of wet logs to ride

  20. I began having accupuncture 25 years ago. In that time I’ve had it done by many different people in different states, and many different styles... It is a good band aid for pain, when you are clueless about the body (as we all are from birth) it pays to see a physio / learn how to strengthen and hold your body properly. I’ve dealt w a lot of pain and been injured for many years, have always been searching for the key to keep my body strong. Takes a lot of research and a lot of patience. I’ve had many many mentors/paid for many different “programs” etc- taking a little from each experience. Proper food and strength training along with mobility... pain free at 38, faster and stronger than I ever have been. Looking forward to the geriatric trials comps in 40 years.
  21. I started on a 16” kids bmx bike w coaster brake, whatever rides !!
  22. Super fun, I have never visited your country... looks lovely and quiet right now for obvious reasons!
  23. That was awesome. How old is he?? Makes a pogo mod look like fun, riding was incredible... the ending nose / hook / balance line down concrete - !!!!!! ... too many “holy fffff” scenes.
  24. Thats a big ol bend going on there... looks like rear sprocket may be used ? But big bend in the chain, Adam got the nail on the head.. Chain skipping is not fun !!!
  25. are you riding right now?? From what I see it seems scary, venice doesnt seem hit as hard as k town or dtla though.. be safe !!
