  1. i can see the ENDS are bolted, but if its not secure in the middle, then its going make no difference f**k nugget!
  2. cant see how using metal pipe clips (or whatever you call them) to hold an arb would be possible, let alone cause less flex than a fixed axle. If it had some substantial brackets that mounted to a solid part of the bodywork, i could see it marginally reducing the flex. but oh well, your problem
  3. is that a rear beam axle dan? unless im being stupid (or cant see from your pictures) thought fitting a arb wouldnt make a difference?
  4. Got a slightly shorter one for sale? think its 130?
  5. 3rd bike shop later, finally got my disk mount faced!
  6. the brake boosters only really there because i like no flex. But yeah, spliiter and lower mount and you'll be spot on!
  7. i run a splitter, means you can run the hose so much more out of the way. see :
  8. I've only ever split the front one removing my bike from the car. My rear hose is cable tied down to the frame, it'd be impossible to hit it.
  9. kinda half agree and not agree i cracked my blade around the brake mount and the bash plate mount, which would obviously be cured by the brake booster and lack of bash plate mounts with the likes of the genesis, but liam cracked the comp at the headtube.... twice....
  10. cracked two blade frames, one within two months.... Liam norwood cracked his comp frame so many times, lost count!
  11. guessing plymouth ride's gunna be a wash-out? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-25490384 :'(
  12. back on track, ive tried and and think it taste's vile. it tastes like normal energy drink mixed with perfume
  13. went to the local bike shop today to get my disk mount faced. When i asked, his face looked like i spoke in a different language. it also pisses me off when they say 'wont be done before christmas'. I know they have to book stuff in to balance work, but for simple jobs could be done while you wait?
  14. You'd also get float through the rubber in your shoes, and in the fitment from your shoe to your foot?
  15. spent the entire day trying to get a disk brake working on my bike just so i can use it to get to and from work. utterly destroyed one set of pads, somehow managed to fit a caliper designed for 200mm disk to a 203mm disk, and due to useless pads, it pretty much does nothing atm. and just found a new set of sintered pads in my room, after all that arsing about.
  16. (couldnt find the relationship thread) Me and the miss's have been really up and down recently, but shes utterly amazing. She's a girly girl, shes a hairdresser, and loves all that stuff like make-up, dressing up, fancy hair, ect. but shes also the kind of girl that that'll happily watch top gear and jackass with me, drink beer, high five me when i beltch and just always will be by my side no matter what. Really hope i get to spend the rest of my life with her
  17. the downside to buying normal bolts as i found out with my echo is that to find long bolts that are fully threaded is virtually impossible.
  18. 300w is plenty to run most off the shelf computers to be honest. Also, even single battery ups's will run computers for 20/30+minutes. Greetings, what ups is it? All the ones i work with have USB/Serial interface, so you'd beable to connect it to your computer that way, and look into why its not working properly.
  19. Looks like it's been removed, i saw this on Facebook. Last i saw it hit half a mill
  20. I always thought it was Andrew Dickey as they were developed for him?
  21. chicken and bacon fahitas with jack daniel bbq sauce, a whole lot of win!
  22. if the inspired forks are anything like the trialtech ones, they are threaded down until vitually the headtube
