From my understanding, you ideally want either Avid ultimate or Shimano Deore calipers. The shimanos should suit a tight budget better.

Ha, I read and thought about every question but got the same amount correct. Not a single f**k given.

I've only thought of one 'interesting' move so far. Quite hard to be creative with my rather limited skills.

I once did a "pretend" project for uni that involved building a trials park within the grounds of a local indoor skate-park. I'm not sure my report would be much use to you though. Costs will be high unless a lot of people are really keen to help out. Try meet with a relevent person in the council, they might be able to source some useful objects like pipe sections for example. If the uni don't have a trailer, try find someone local who won't charge too much to trailer some stuff about for you. Do any of your group have experience with MS Project? A good MS Project submission will surely help. I never put any of my trials-park plans into practice, so I might be talking rubbish!

Car news: May have accidentally ordered some Bilstein dampers for the brick, and maybe possibly also some lowering springs. oops. Also, two people said they were coming to look at the Focus, neither showed up.

I think people in this country probably are quite bad for just avoiding buying winter tyres to save some money. Gave the focus some new front brakes the other day to get it ready for selling, the buyer didn't show up though. Also got an MBC fitted in the Volvo brick, unfortunately wasn't able to fit the boost gauge so I haven't upped the boost yet.

Aiming for 0.8 bar to begin with, but I might need to get hold of a wastegate actuator from the hpt model to get above 0.5 bar. Really need better suspension though, the standard dampers are stupendously weak.

Hey Robin, I was just thinking about that place. What are the laws on sliding about on that beach? And wouldn't it be terrible for your car? In other news; picking up an old Volvo tomorrow. Already got a manual boost controller for it, hoping to get about 190bhp for pennies.

I want that Daihatsu more than I want that Evo. That kinda sums up my taste in cars. On which note, planning to pick up a rwd turbo Volvo soon and start getting sideways. Can't wait. Selling the Focus at £550 if anyone's interested.
