how about something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/DIAGNOSTIC-CABLE-409-1-OBD2-VAG-COM/dp/B005R0OQ12/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379939820&sr=8-1&keywords=vag+com if you say already had the software as Im a primer... Oh and just in case, will the old battery removal trick work to clear the engine management warning as a test ?

Hey - I need a bit of quick help/advice with my car. 54 fabia 1.2 (oh yes, fear the power) Engine management light came on after stopping for petrol last night. Was fine before engine off and continued to be fine on the run back to my house (5-10 mins) no rise on temp gauge, no change in running. It has happened once before - directly before a service but the light went off after a couple of days I need to use it on thursday to go see Martyn in Oswestry (2.5 hrs), so it needs to be ok. Whats the best way to check out the fault code - should I just take it to the garage and pay for the code to be read or is there a better way to do it myself for cheeps, given it may happen again / come in handy in the future on a fairly old battered car ? Also can I just pull the battery to clear the code and see if it comes back on as a simple test to see if the car is good to go for a long drive ? Any help. RJ

Good- Control centre for shortcuts to some settings Scheduled dnd Looks nice More apps per folder. Bad- Email is f**ked for me due to loading info on the entire inbox not the latest 50 Airplay is lost from the music player to the control centre - pointless and annoying The control centre rarely works first time - notification centre is fine top down but bottom up seems problematic due to the density of things at the bottom. Safari is much more complicated to operate on a mobile screen especially foward and back? All in all - shit.

My days of quadruple vodka red bulls in da club are over. When sober and without something strong added it tastes like shit.

Hey Audi boys, quick one... my sister has a 55 plate A4 estate 1.9 TDI SE. It's oil pump died apparently - the quote from audi is £3k ! Im assuming its an engine out job ? A quick google seems to suggest a new pump in its entirety is getting on for £800 ? Am I definitely going to need a whole new one as there seem to be repair bits around? Me and a friend ( who is much more mechanically minded) may consider having a go - given that at the moment the alternative is the car gets sold and they get a cheap run around. Would the job require any specialist audi tools and is the oil pump dying likely to have knackered anything else ?

That's disappointing - Kimi goes sideways, and leaves vettel to win again .... Boooooo
-
Also - specialist bike insurers are just crooks. Stick to adding it to a home insurance policy.

You're going to be limited by the max wattage the fitting can take... I'm guessing some sort of halogen bulb at the max wattage is going to be the brightest. Also check the angle of the beam that they chuck out - you probably want a nice wide one. Also they don't seem to be pointing in the best directions ? Looks like they could be angled down a bit more to get the light where you want it? Oh and if all else fails - I love lamp.

loved some bits, hated others. A great video ! I get what some people are saying about the riding/tricks being nabbed from other people, but its not any different to me doing an up to front on something or a manual - I copied them from someone, its just they are so old and standard no one gives a poo. And hey - If I could do any of those moves damn straight they would be in a video. I think that as the guy gets better (as he seems to be pretty quick ?!!) He will be able to throw them in and interpret them in his own way a bit more, and make them a bit more his own. anyways - liked it. And full standing was the best bit - nice bit of stabilisation and a great move. I want that to be best trick, but Im hoping for a better winning video
-
Biggest plus - whatever gearing I have (including gears) the geometry stays the same.

The worst comic film I've ever seen (this includes green lantern) It's dull, makes no sense and has terrible acting. Oh and some of the worst product placement since "omega" The best thing about it was Kevin Costner as his dad - and he is in it for 5mins total probably.

Claire made me drive to Wales today to see her brother before he goes back to America. Turns out they all have norovirus and didn't say anything. I am f**king livid.

Hmmm - not so sure about that one.

The Halifax ad with the school P.E teacher just made me want to vommit.

I thought max res for continuous 24p was less than 1080 and pretty limited recording time for full 1080/24p on all but the 5d3 ?
-
Isn't the only one that is really working the 5d3 ? That would make it a shade more than 350 Eurodollar ?! Hey it's definitely cool - I'd love to try it out but I doubt the real world difference for anything other than bluray/cinema is enough to make the hassle worthwhile. I think my point was - I want a 5d3 But if I was shooting video professionally - then either it would not worth the extra level in editing (time or for final edit target), or if I was shooting something on a high enough scale that I needed uncompressed raw 2k/4k/whatever I would be using a better suited camera. It would be nice if this sort of development drives people like canon to really think about the products they put out, and the features they have available.
-
Yes true, but honestly unless I was shooting cinema I wouldn't bother - and even then probably not - yeah it gives good post options but if you shoot it right in the first place you don't need them? If you want raw shooting there are better options. It's cool though, and to have the option for shooting a scene when you know dark/light areas are going to be a problem, but the cons seem to outweigh the pros.
-
Hmm - not reaally if your final edit is going on Vimeo/YouTube...

Did any one else notice Ben Rowlands slipping into the semi finals at Wimbledon?
-
That was my point - it crashed in on itself, and we all bailed it out. It will never be over.
