  1. As Mark said. From what i understand, Ukraine has the problem of, EU or Russia for trading/ imports/ exports. They can't have both, because Russia says no. And that's where the country is divided by two. But that's what the tv told me, or something along those lines. Honestly though, because it's not on my doorstep i'm not overly concerned. War or no war, what difference does it really make? We've been consistently at war since borders were invented and countries were given names. It's only the civilians in the middle who just want to get on with life that really suffer.
  2. You'd be hard pushed to find a shop who could reem that i suspect. Integrated + Ti = urgh! It's early (for me and my jobless life), so forgive me if i read that wrong, twice. The bearings sits wrong cause of ovalised tube? Loads of grease, headtube press it in. It shouldn't matter if it's sitting out of the headtube slightly. But if the fit is too tight, no point, it'll damage the bearing. If you want to keep the frame. You could compress the opposite curve of the headtube, spreading the tight area. But talk about dodge/ bodge. You could also run a slit down the headtube, again dodge/ bodge. Send that shit back. Chineese Ti sounds sketchy enough. How much was it btw? Do they have an external model, that'll be ALOT easier to fix

It's a full bike for 220 bucks that rolls out of the box. What's there not to like?
  4. Compression isn't removing information, which mp3 does do (remove information i mean), Grandad
  5. Organise a local event. Have your hair chopped off in the public eye. People will likely give if they see that hair coming off in person!

Total bullshit. Shit company, avoid. WTP offer good value frames from a good quality factory. My Ovoid was my second favourite frame. Doesn't matter what wheelsize you go for, it's all about frame length. Bigger wheels are more stable, but a short frame with big wheels will still be flicky as hell. 2.2kg is lighter than all the frames i have now. (the one i ride and the ones sat around) A 2.2kg frame, no pegs, and Grifters will pretty damn light. If it's not light enough, then you must be too used to trials bikes.
  7. It's only actually a compression, while i know little about producing the dvd, i know that when uncompressing you get SD footage looking pretty stunning on a tv. Better than HD youtube footage. I'm not sure how the upscaling dvd players work, but it's most likely just uncompressing the image too as that would make sense. As for the sound, the same probably applies, it's just compression rather than a downgrade. I therefore forward my dvd= quality statement back at you.
  8. Dvds do ooze quality though. Higher res, better sound.

Frame, fork, bars will save the most. Equally tires will do a considerable amount. The rest of the bike won't shred that much weight. Either because the parts are so small or in centralised places. Grifters are good. Most people don't run them because of the name. But i've had more success with them than any other tyre.
  10. Yeah that's the thing. Makes no difference if anyone calls it shit, so we'll call it shit just to make sure. I think people took my other post out of context. When i say angry-esk things, i often say them with a smile in person. [edit] A second relevant point, Fabio didn't post this up himself.

Grifter. Them Demo tyres blow out real easy. Not surprised you don't like them, mine came of my bike pretty sharpish.
  12. It seems a tradition for 24" riders now to focus primarily on filming angles, editing and filming buildings and the public. I think there were like 10 clips in that vid, in a 4 minute video. Seriously, wtf. I don't care if he only had 3 days to film and was injured. Bullshit, the kid's 18 and his neck isn't broken. One day in one city, i could bang out more clips than him. Dominic Raab's video was similar. But i like Raab, he's a good rider, even if his last video was slightly lack luster still. He does produce, but still on low quantity of levels.
  13. I think that was the best he could of come out of that. Shame that bench was there, would of rode straight outta it. Good he managed to get back on the bike though before the holiday ends.
  14. Unless you have a red and white out, you can't do it. But you should do somewhere on the tv. The phono cable will cost couple of quids. Though why do you want to listen to regular tv with them speakers?
  15. Unfortunately i couldn't find anything of any use. Looked in the card store and looked through all my photos and couldn't find anything appropriate. I just can't imagen what his thoughts are like despite whatever has been written online.

See if you can hunt down a local rider. Nothing would be worse than looking for a spot for ages to find it's gone, being developed on, security or police are hot on it etc.
  17. It says to match the rear. Presumingly being a non-disk model. Maybe a re-release/ new shell then if they already do non-disk. Though i've never seen one, don't follow the race scene.
  18. I really think Hope haven't got a clue what they're doing with this. I said in the thread years ago there would be a market for one if made correctly. Though the 20mm front option is nice, if a little late. Again.
  19. Trials progression is slow. Brakeless isn't a progression, just a side turning. There are no brakeless riders in the big comps because it's a big disadvantage at something that is about winning. Street trials isn't about winning. I have no idea who is leading the fads of trials atm with Koxx going/ gone/ coming back or whatever. They seemed to influence the market somewhat. 24" will never rival stocks or mods for true trials, tricks and trials just don't work together to be amazing at both. The future will be riders hooking 10 foot walls. The skill progression is slow. But i think 40" sidehops are the norm by everyone now. Eventually it'll be 50". I imagen we'll see some technology to help wheel drive, and 10 foot gaps will become the norm to.

When i went there, we found a good few decent spots and we wasn't even looking for anything in-particular. That was over 10 years ago so we didn't know of anything to find anyway. Saw Benito Reis or however you spell his name. Sets, ledges, that big pyramid thing, large marble blocks, manual pads. I wouldn't worry about finding every spot on the go-to list. You'll have a fun time, just keep your wits about you at night.
  21. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. NO. I do sidehops, Ben doesn't. Therefore, i am cooler.
  22. Ali has more skill than the public eye can identify. There's nothing more to it. Learning tricks because they're hard gets you nowhere, it's all about the image. That's why trials riders do them shitty 360 drop offs all the time because they're easy and look good. Anyhoo. Dave would like to see a video from you too. Can't say anything about the bike, apart from that it's not orange with a brown seat. Which is good.
  23. I have no idea how that 3 tap over the little rail got prevalence over the manual rail hop. From the picture i thought that i was gonna watch Ali stack that gap. Good that he didn't, pretty fast. How did he break himself this time? One of probably two 24" riders who actually make me want to ride 24" again, no else seems to make use of the bikes that well.
