  1. Awesome Ben, great stuff. Rail ride was "deece" as they say
  2. The Tabletop if i'm thinking of the right tyre is gonna have the same thin sidewall as the HolyR. But with more spaced out grip. For pure street the Holy is better rolling but TT for more urban/dirt mix. Both pretty bad on rear for punxtures at low pressure.
  3. It's cool to see Tunni on the judges list, should encourage some tgs riders. Lack of replies make me think this could have a copy posted in Trials Chat.

Nyquist Cool vid Flip. Not much to say, generally good shit [edit] YT'd Trap Music, all those top listings are commercial, predictable BS, not a proper representation of the genre.
  5. Who's 30+ ??! As retirement got mentioned, i will say, screw pensions. I feel like Tony. Being told such bs was quite annoying and having pressure put on you wasn't cool.
  6. Definitely cool. I'm not a iphone liker, but i fully approve. Will check the footage when i'm on the wiffi.
  7. nah, we've hijacked this thread now I could rock a monitor and £500 is a sensible price. I will go have a gander at the specs. The slippery slope, just got slipier.
  8. I've been impressed with the current 1080 upscaling. Although 4k is considerably an even bigger jump, a game's image is quite different to real footage. I'm not likely to buy one but it's no doubt a temptation, gotta save the money.
  9. Depends on the game as next gen is still in early days. But 1080 and 60fps are slowly coming along. But as said i'd would demo it if i were to make the jump. Just the annoying thing is i'd like a visual upgrade but paying for a mild upgrade from my 1080 / 100hz / 8ms current tv seems not worth it
  10. If you don't mind doing both jobs then that's the way to go for sure as you've now mentioned going round the world. Just concentrate on not throwing money away, and if you can ditch the car, they are black holes for cash as you probably know. Having the education is an advantage but not a necessity if you don't know which way to go imo. A lot of people swing jobs by luck. Monkey, what the fook you on about?
  11. Idea was to use console with receiver upscaling to 4k. But i would demo the setup before buying. But the biggest problem i see is the technology is young.
  12. Imho all your jobs are a waste of time and dead end. You won't get anything from either unless you're in the brown nose club for years. You don't go out drinking and you don't pay rent? Why so many jobs? Go have some fun on your bike. If you don't know what you want todo, that's just hardluck. I have ten years on you and still f**kin around deciding what route to go. But on the bright side i'm not married with a lack of time for myself, a mortgage and so forth.

The "what if" argument is an odd one. "grass ain't always greener on the other side". I'd actually do what you want, when i've listened to others it's not been worth listening to the majority of the time.
  14. The journey of audio is a horrible one for the wallet indeed. Managed to break away somewhat though, primarily due to time constraints as you say. However i'm potentially in the market for some speakers, that or a 4k tv. Not sure when i'll break, but speakers i seem to be leaning to more. My gaming setup is only really of good quality, the rest is "mid-fi" if you like. Xbox- Yamaha 675 w/ silent cinema and a burr brown dac - Beyer dt99 premiums or AKG k702. Threw in an Arcam rpac into the mix from pc- dac- receiver and it has helps with the sound control, but my other dac isn't usb so will be selling that on ebay shortly. My portables i kinda got carried away and went through allot of stuff but now i have Ak100 / Cowon J3 - Senn Momentum's, DT1350, Westone UMX3x However i do recommend the headphone journey, have got to listen to some amazing kit in the past. The electrostatic setups are sheer bliss. And tbf, for a grand you can get a simple nice setup.
  15. I had wrote a fair amount of feedback to them, to the extent i could, i didn't get as much of riding on it as i'd wanted due to my knee. But Dave never followed up on anything. I also shared my thoughts and opinions about Inspired's direction and the bike to some and they felt the same. I will not disclose names for obvious reasons. My point is just that there are people out there who aren't convinced on these bikes. Lack of a better word... I will say though they gave me the frame only. And i did specify that the frame NEEDED the forks to be ridden correctly. Can't emphasise that enough. I rarely ride anybody's Arcade/ 24" because i don't believe them to be that fun. While i get on Mr Wells' Octane and it's great. When i rode the Element it was good for what it was. Although hard work for anything too street. I feel this bike dares to stray very far from the others. While the bikes are good, i just can't except those prices for something not ideal. The market really hasn't got much in it so it's not suprising every man and his dog has one. The steels while a step forward, it's only half a step. I'm not here to bash like a tgs bike (hah), cause they are genuine nice guys.
  16. Regarding the Console. Have to wait for the price, but i doubt it'll effect my opinion of disapointed. Still to much of a blur between them all. Graphics are nasty but the paintwork is nice tbf. Like to own one, but they just don't have the features i would like and have unecessary ones. Paying big money for partially what i want isn't on my list. I know they spent a long time getting it all perfect but it's the wrong direction. I know i'm not the only one with these opinions either. Hope you take that onboard guys.

There's always the chance you'll get to shoot some kids with AKs too.
  18. Soo many Inspireds about. So many so i saw a Skye in Boston and met a guy who was getting an Element in San Diego. Point being, probably just a random person.
  19. We're not talking about cable management guys, but all the unused cables we aquire. And for me there's alot. Jolfa, i'd like to recycle them!
  20. Is it just me that has an abundance of cables? Not just electrical cables but bike ones too. Just clearing out some stuff and ffs, it's like they crawl into everything. Not to mention another upgrade will leave me with 4 hdmi and an optical. Least i can save the decent ones. And those stupid miny usb ones. grrrrrr So many. WHY, HOW? My original intention was to ask where to get rid of them. But i think the electronics bit in the scrapy will take them. I now spy a 6" stack of cds. Where do these get disposed of? Are they even recycle-able. /rant over
  21. Interesting. Bit different from the norm. 0 I remember that one, good vid. Big spots. Frames have different gears? Whole bike only i'm guessing for release? Look forward to having a go on someones to see what they feel like now.
  22. Superb video guys, loved the tunes, fitted well. Makes me want to ride some mod allot. Oddly, the up rock, 180 on rock, to 180 off rock was my fav for sure. Equally good other lines in there too.
  23. Nice whip for sure. I don't think i ever recalled Danny M, doing them without a hop, so the kids shouldn't needn't complain But with no hop would be incredibly sick. Should of released a full vid Pat! As in, it isn't black? I'm intrigued but i suspect it hasn't changed much from it's original design.
  24. If you're subbing to Netflix, can't you just stream from your pc to xbox instead? Sorry i know nothing about Netflix mind. I have had totally different experience to you. Consoles have always saved me copious amounts of money over the years. I've bought a single on release game each year for 5 years since i got back on xbox live. It has been £30 at most for a year's sub. So that's only been £70 per year, which has saved me from allot of other stuff. Other media like phones and PCs i feel the same about. The amount of money people spend on phones is comical to me, i'm currently spending the most i've ever spent atm, at £10.50 a month, with a free phone. PCs require constant upgrading and services to avoid being lost in the warp.
