This argument sucks.

I've got a deadline coming up, so went and played in the mud instead of working.

I love this car, even if it did decide that a mile into my drive friday that electrically operated wipers are gay and deserve no place in it, no matter how much the rain pours.

Hey Robin, I was just thinking about that place. What are the laws on sliding about on that beach? And wouldn't it be terrible for your car?

In other news; picking up an old Volvo tomorrow. Already got a manual boost controller for it, hoping to get about 190bhp for pennies.

Yay, now I'm going to sift through my facebook for any photos I've taken in the last year or so, to try and add some interest to the thread again...

Lotus Esprit + Air-ride = huge win!

That'll do for now I think. ;)

Pete, sliding around there's pretty frowned upon, it's far from accepted as being ok. It's technically a public car-park, so the same rules as any other apply really. If it's quiet then a bit of fun's generally let slip, but go there just to slide around and make lots of noise and a panda car will usually turn up before too long. You'd get away with a fair bit if you go in the middle of the day on a school day though, as long as you're being sensible and not nearly running over dog walkers/children. :P

Scuffed bumper, scuffed and dented wing, smashed mirror. snapped inner wheel arch and a scuff on the wheel.

Not a clue how it happened, parked up at about half 5 after work and it was perfect. Went to the cinema with a friend and came back at 1, went out to it in the morning and went to drive it forward to my gate so I could wash it and the inner wheel arch pulled out and scuffed where it was all bent in. That was the first I knew.

Didn't really take any pictures of it, because I needed to get to the scrappy by 12 to fix it.

I used an arch roller to pull it back straight, there's a crease on the back of the wing still but this is the basics after straightening it out -

The outer lip was bent in, so using a scaffolding pole as a pikey arch roller I pulled it straight.

And the wheel, but a fairly poop picture -

Is that a Honda?

Its MPG and reliability are better than my choice, but the Stingray beats all cars purely in f**k you value.

Yerp Civic.

For your listening pleasure and what got me hooked on civics:

Ah im just not so keen on american muscle. All that big engine, but such little power.

Troy, yeah, that's one of the sad things about it but the size of the engine just makes it sound so good. People are on about bass in music, the stingray has some serious bass for an engine sound.

And it looks killer.

Not being mechanically minded, i don't see how they failed to get anything decent powerwise out of it?
