We haven't really posted any of the custom builds we've done for a while, but this one looks pretty sweet:

I think most other styles of bike are weighed without them and are provided with shite pedals whatever the spec, as most people change the pedals to suit their needs. Eg- clip in pedals (whatever they are called) with the shoes n shiz.

....I'm probably wrong, but I just guess they are following the tradition.

I totally agree though, don't see the point in this instance

How come you weigh the bike then say "including pedals" ?

Why not, including "grips" or something else? Sorry if this sounds weird or like a dig, genuinely wondering!

A lot of trials companies' bike weights seem to be around 300-400g too light, so we reckon they are weighing them without pedals (as is convention in the MTB world). But, that's misleading, so we weigh them with. If we don't put 'including pedals' on the description, we get loads of emails saying 'XYZ company says on their website the bike weighs xxx, why is yours heavier?'.

I personally think they know that they could have made it better.

Haha, what? We all really liked the colour scheme which is why we specifically chose that frame colour for it, and added stuff like the coloured crank bolts and headset. Also, the vast majority of people (i.e. everyone in this thread but you, people on other forums where it's been posted, our Facebook page) all seem to really like it and how it looks.
