Putting this up for mr skoze, my bosses mint series one landy...

Ooooh that's shiny!

Mine's getting some much needed attention today, gonna clean it out and get it ready to go on holiday and have it's new engine fitted (which has worked out costing me £50 after selling my V8, touch)

So much shit to order tonight though, nightmare.

Ah well, MOT will be worth it B)

Interesting, I thought you had a B30 in the estate? is this a whole new lump?

B32 on a 5 speed tranny should be great fun with that diff. You staying on stock management and twin vanos?

Yeah, this is a completely different car, it's a 96 M3 Evo, came from Wales. Now LHD. The estate was a B30 but that was a complete fluke. Engine is being pulled apart now, really want to know what happened in there.

Stock management for now, vanos sounding like a diesel but according to the dyno the torque curve is pretty much bang on so no need to fix :P

Cheers guys! It's a mates car, got myself insured on it though!

You're gonna laugh when I say this! £65... 3m adhesive matt black vinyl. The guy who's car it is works as a signwriter/vehicle graphics specialist, so we did it out of hours and trade price vinyl!

Relatively straight forward to clean - warm water and a soft cloth - everything just wipes off it! No need to polish or anything as you're only after a dull finish anyway!

To Pashley26.

They are standard lights that been tinted to a dark smoke ( Similar shade to the corsa vxr) I also thought i would customise it by having the reverse/indicator clear lense left as it is. to give it a look and style where as most people tint over that bit.

How much awesome am i likely to lose by not fitting the intercooler from my turbo diesel?

Overheating isn't really gonna be an issue and i'm very tight for space - tempted to just drop it like a lot of others do.

Someone on here did something like this a few years ago:

BILD0047.sized.jpg

Question is how long does this tyre paint last and how resilient is it to rain, cleaning and the actual movement of the tyre?

I accidentally bought a set of 595's instead of Michelin slicks. I wanted the slicks partly for a photo shoot for when the car is ready, due to it's purpose it'd look a lot better on proper racing tyres than just ordinary black sidewall stuff. Now I have to paint these so they look roughly like this:

It lasts quite well, gets shit up and fades though. Apply the paint/pen after having the tires fitted too. I did if before hand and when they bang the pressure in to seat the tire it cracked all the lettering.
