A few of my work colleagues stopped just like that which I was really surprised at, seems to be the way to go! Congrats though mate, I imagine it would be so hard to do! Pashley26 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Share Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Beazles. This morning, I had a lot to do. I assembled the drawer units, drilled and countersunk the handles. I finished the glossing on the skirting boards. My stepdad fitted the baton and suspended the units then levelled them off. My stepdad measured and cut the counter top, I screwed it down. Then pictures cut out for a bit because it was all a mad rush. But now, I've had dinner, kitchen is fitted and I'm tiling my way around. A couple of other things to do, I need to extend the worktop over the washing machine and fit the end facia decor panels. I'm so happy that I went for the grey and white theme, I like knowing I've got exactly 'my' kitchen that I wanted and it's not just a copy and paste that I've had a designer do, or seen online. The tiling will really turn it up a notch, can't wait. Tomorrow the decorators are coming in to make good all the walls and paint everything brilliant white. Didn't even mind the 5 ish mile walk home along country lanes in the freezing cold! Only downside is i now have to repeat that walk to go get my bike!
