monkeyseemonkeydo
Climbing frame. It's called a children's climbing frame 😜 4
MadManMike
I hate it when the bike doesn't fit the frame 😂 I thought that first message looked spammy, interesting spam bot technique to come back and update with a link.
forteh
For the girl who, at the start of this year, would let the other kids go first in races because it's polite.... 2nd place West Midlands regional championship. 2nd place West Midlands road race league. It went down to the last race today for the league but the commisaire screwed up and didn't ring the bell for last lap so she didn't know she was finishing. Had she known she would have caught the leader and sprinted. Ah well cyclo-cross season in September😁 Edited July 1, 2023 by forteh
Rusevelt
Dunno if this was scripted, but it made me laugh that Gillian didn't hold back.

Tom Booth
Today I've had a boiler leak fixed, a radiator installed in our conservatory and our living room plastered. I've got that accomplished full adult feeling.
Topsy
Haven't been to a concert in ages and semi spontaneously got tickets for Skinny Lister. Just on my way home and it was a blast, can fully recommend. Someone I know one called going to gigs like therapy, I think I'm starting to understand him 😄

Rusevelt
Just thought I'd have a sneak peek at Eurovision Song Contest 2024 nonsense, and had to do a double take on artist Bambie Thug/Doomsday Blue for Ireland. Holy sh*t on one hell of a performance literally. Was expecting some pop nonsense, but was totally the complete opposite, surprised the censorship would allowed such a performance for a global audience. Wouldn't expect it to make the finals, but definitely a unique standout performance. Edited May 8 by Rusevelt

monkeyseemonkeydo
I won the DBC weekly comp! Bought 20 tickets for £9.80 and now have to choose a ~£500 prize from the available selection: Currently thinking a nice set of Hope E4s in black and bronze with floating rotors for the MTB... Any thoughts?
forteh
My thoughts are to give it to me A set of MT7 or hopes would do nicely, I'll let you make the decision.
Ali C
Out of those it would be the Lewis for me if I’m purely looking for a brake that works well

Fingers crossed I don't regret the choice!
Ali C
I would’ve gone for the Hopes if my intentions were to sell them then buy something good instead 😂 1

forteh
Mrs wife took the daughter up to Wrexham to watch the tour of Britain women's race and this happened 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/share/r/9Z713xDYfsLVxmnX/ She's getting good at stalking world champions, also got Pidcock and Ferrand-Prevot to sign her jersey back in the summer at the MTB worlds at Glentress. bikeperson45
I've had a very loose goal of riding 200 miles in a day for a few years now and have finally booked a stay in York to see if I can make it happen. Picked York as there's an incredibly flat 200 mile route in that area so will see how close I get... Did a practise ride yesterday and managed 105 miles without too crazy an effort, glad to find I can still manage a slow pace for a good 10 hours without much issue so optimistic, nice to have an 'event' lined up.

Just be careful in which direction you go from York. If you go North you have the Moors, East you have the Wolds, West has the Dales but South is still very flat 😄
